    We work across Greater London and the Home Counties, including Surrey, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Kent. If you’re nearby and we can comfortably reach you, we’ll come and quote.

    Do you offer free, no-obligation quotes?

    Yes. We visit your home, walk the space with you, and come back with a clear, itemised fixed quote. There’s no charge for the quote and no pressure to proceed.

    Are you fully insured and qualified?

    Yes. A-BaL Developer LTD is a registered UK building company with full public liability insurance. Our team are skilled tradesmen with the relevant qualifications for each discipline.

  4. 04

    What does the 5-year guarantee cover?

    Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers any defect in the work we carry out, excluding ordinary wear and tear and any damage caused by alterations made after handover. If something isn’t right, we come back and put it right.

  5. 05

    How long does a typical project take?

    Timescales vary by scope. As a guide: a kitchen or bathroom is typically 3–5 weeks; a single-storey extension 10–14 weeks; a full refurbishment with extension and loft 4–6 months. We give you a firm programme with your quote.

    Can we stay in the house while the work is being done?

    In most cases, yes. We phase the build, dust-protect work areas and keep services running where possible. For larger refurbishments we’ll talk you through whether moving out for part of the job will be smoother.

  7. 07

    Do you handle planning permission and building regulations?

    Yes. We can recommend architects we work with regularly, liaise with planners and building control, and manage the process through to final sign-off.

  8. 08

    How do payments work?

    We use clear stage payments tied to milestones — never large up-front lump sums. Everything is set out in your quote before any work begins.
